Za’atar seasoning is my absolute favorite, it works in so many types of dishes! I love using it to season fish with just some EVOO and lemon, it’s such a simple and fresh combo that never disappoints. These za’atar grilled shrimp kebabs are full of flavor and go perfectly with a salad full of fresh seasonal veggies! This is really the perfect summer meal, absolutely packed with flavor and nutrients!
INGREDIENTS
For the Za’atar Grilled Shrimp
3 skewers
9 pieces raw shrimp peeled & deveined tail on
½ bell pepper chopped
¼ red onion chopped
1 tbsp EVOO
Juice of ½ a lemon
1 tbsp A Spice Affair’s Za’atar Seasoning (Wellness Flavor Booster Kit)
For the Za’atar Summer Salad
1 avocado
1 large beefsteak tomato
1 cucumber
⅓ red onion
1 tbsp EVOO
Juice of ½ a lemon
1 tbsp A Spice Affair’s Za’atar Seasoning
PREPARATION
For the Za’atar Grilled Shrimp
- Place shrimp in a dish, drizzle EVOO, lemon juice, and za’atar.
- Let marinate for 20 minutes or a few hours in the fridge.
- Build your skewers by alternating veggies and shrimp, 3 pieces of shrimp per skewer.
- Grill a few minutes on each side until cooked through.
For the Za’atar Summer Salad
- Chop tomato, cucumbers and red onion and add to a large bowl.
- Drizzle with EVOO, lemon juice, and sprinkle Za’atar.
- Mix well to coat the veggies.
- Chop avocado, add to the bowl and toss again.
Serve these dishes together for a delicious and refreshing summer meal!
