An adaptation of Goodfood’s Recipe
Time: 20 min + 1 hour cooking
For the wings
1kg chicken wings
2 tbsp A Spice Affair’s Smoky Tennessee BBQ Seasoning
Olive oil, to grease baking tray
For the glaze
75g cider vinegar
75ml hot sauce
50ml maple syrup
- Add chicken and A Spice Affair’s Smoky Tennessee BBQ Seasoning in a bowl. Toss the chicken to coat the wings evenly and let marinate overnight if possible.
- Pre-heat the oven to 180 C, transfer wings to baking tray and roast for 45 minutes. Once cooked through, raise the temperature to 220 C and let the chicken cook for and additional 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Add the glaze ingredients to a saucepan and stir until well combined. Let simmer for around 10 minutes until the sauce becomes nice and thick. Pour the sauce over the chicken wings and serve!
