🍔✨ A Decadent Chicken Burger with Maple Mustard Sauce ✨🍁

Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 2–4 chicken breast or thigh fillets
- All-purpose flour (for coating)
- Lettuce leaves (for serving)
For the Marinade
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp Black Pepper A Spice Affair
- 1 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt Ground A Spice Affair
- 1 tsp Garlic Ground A Spice Affair
For the Maple Mustard Sauce
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp Maple Mustard Seasoning A Spice Affair
Preparation
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine the sour cream, Black Pepper, Himalayan Pink Salt, and Garlic Ground. Add the chicken fillets and coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or ideally overnight for maximum flavour and tenderness.
Coat & Cook
Remove the chicken from the fridge. Lightly dredge each piece in flour, shaking off any excess.
Heat a skillet over medium heat with a drizzle of oil. Cook the chicken for 5–7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked through.
Prepare the Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together the mustard, mayonnaise, maple syrup, and Maple Mustard Seasoning until smooth and creamy.
Assemble the Burger
Toast your burger buns if desired. Spread a generous layer of maple mustard sauce on both sides of the bun.
Place the crispy chicken on the bottom bun, top with fresh lettuce and any additional toppings (such as tomatoes or pickles), then close with the top bun.
Serve
Serve immediately with crispy fries or a fresh salad for the perfect sweet-and-savoury burger night.
