SWEET PUMPKIN SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pumpkin Spice A Spice Affair
  • 4 to 5 pitted dates
  • 3/4 cup milk of your choice (preferably unsweetened)
  • 5 large ice cubes

 

PREPARATION

Soak the pitted dates in warm water to make them smoother to mix. Combine the ingredients in your blend and mix until completely smooth.

Cinnamon: is said to have antioxidant, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Ginger: in addition to its reputation of aphrodisiac and tonic, it would improve digestion and would have anti-emetic and anti-bacterial actions.
