Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, if beef is lean)
- ½ jar (about 375 ml) of your favourite tomato pasta sauce
- 1 tbsp Cajun Invasion Seasoning - The Spice Age (add more if you like it extra bold)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 box (450 g) spaghetti, cooked al dente
- Optional: splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce
Toppings: grated parmesan, chopped parsley, extra Cajun Invasion Seasoning - The Spice Age sprinkle
To serve: garlic bread or side salad
Preparation
Sauce
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat (add olive oil if needed).
- Drain excess fat.
- Stir in tomato pasta sauce and Cajun Invasion Seasoning - The Spice Age. Simmer for 5–10 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
Combine
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
Garnish
- Top with parmesan, parsley, and a dash more Cajun Invasion Seasoning - The Spice Age.
