These easy homemade onion garlic biscuits bake up golden, tender, and packed with savoury flavour. Perfect as a side for soup, chili, pasta, or as a warm snack with butter.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tbsp A Spice Affair GO! Garlic and Onion Seasoning

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 1/2 cup grated cheese (cheddar or a blend)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice, plus milk to make 1 cup total


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and GO! Garlic and Onion Seasoning.

  3. Cut in the butter until the mixture looks crumbly (small pea-size pieces are perfect).

  4. Stir in cheese until evenly mixed.

  5. Make the milk mixture: add lemon juice to a measuring cup, then add milk until it reaches 1 cup.

  6. Combine: pour milk mixture into the bowl and stir just until combined. Do not overmix.

  7. Scoop and drop: drop large spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet.

  8. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, until golden on top. Serve warm.
