CHICKEN SHAWARMA CASSEROLE

INGREDIENTS

6 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
2 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp yogurt
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp white vinegar
1 tbsp Chef Deema's Chicken Shawarma Seasoning
1 tsp Chef Deema's Premium Zaatar
1 tsp A Spice Affair's Ground Cardamom
Salt & Pepper

FOR THE SAUCE
175 grams sour cream
¾ cup cream cheese
½ cup milk
1 cup mozzarella cheese
French fries

FOR GARNISH
1 tsp A Spice Affair's Red Chili Flakes
1 tsp Chef Deema's Premium Zaatar
Cucumber pickles for garnish
Chives

PREPARATION

1. In a large bowl, mix the chicken with the marinade ingredients. Let marinate in the fridge for 4 hours or overnight.

2. Preheat oil in a frying pan, add the chicken in batches, and cook until browned or cooked through.

3. In a large baking tray, spread the French fries and top them with the cooked chicken.

4. In a bowl, combine sour cream, cream cheese, and milk, and mix until smooth. Pour the sauce over the chicken and fries. Top with mozzarella cheese, a sprinkle of red chili flakes, and Zaatar.

5. Bake in a preheated oven at 390°F (200°C) for 10 minutes.

6. Garnish with pickles, chives, and a little more Zaatar, and serve. Enjoy!
