ZESTY GRILLED OCTOPUS

ZESTY GRILLED OCTOPUS

Prep time: 10 minutes, Cook time: 10 minutes, Total time: 20 minutes
Serves: 2-3


INGREDIENTS

907 g fresh octopus, pre-cooked (2 lb)
2 tbsp neutral oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
2-3 tsp A Spice Affair's Zesty Fish Rub
⅓ cup olives, roughly chopped
¼ cup parsley, chopped
Salt and Pepper to taste


PREPARATION

  1. If Octopus is not cooked: bring large pot of salted water to a boil. Add octopus and reduce down to a simmer. Cook for 50-60 minutes, or until octopus can be pierced easily. 
  2. Preheat grill to medium high heat. Combine oil, garlic, and Zesty Fish Rub. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside. 
  3. Slice octopus tentacles and grill for 4-5 minutes per side until charred. 
  4. Remove from grill, let cool and plate. Drizzle with dressing mixture and top with olives and fresh parsley.
