Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups cooked sushi rice (or jasmine rice)
  • 1 cup steamed edamame beans
  • 1 grilled or marinated salmon fillet, cubed or flaked
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ cucumber, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup fresh mango or pineapple chunks (for sweet & savoury contrast)
  • 1 to 2 tbsp Take Me to Hawaii Seasoning – The Spice Age (adjust to taste)
  • Salt, to taste

Toppings: sesame seeds, sliced green onions, optional pickled ginger

To serve: soy sauce or tamari on the side, for drizzling or dipping

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, add a base of cooked sushi rice.
