Ingredients
For the popcorn

1/2 cup popcorn kernels

1/4 cup unsalted butter

2 tbsp neutral oil

1/2 tsp Maple Bacon Vegan A Spice Affair

Pinch of salt
For the maple topping

1/2 cup pure maple syrup
-
1/4 cup unsalted butter
-
1/2 tbsp Maple Bacon Vegan A Spice Affair

Salt to taste
Preparation
Step 1: Make the popcorn
On medium-high heat, melt the butter with the oil in a large pot. Add the popcorn kernels, Maple Bacon Vegan A Spice Affair, and a pinch of salt. Cover and reduce heat to medium. Let the popcorn pop until the popping slows to one pop every few seconds. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 2: Prepare the maple glaze
In a saucepan, combine the butter, maple syrup, Maple Bacon Vegan A Spice Affair, and salt. Stir over medium heat until it starts to boil. Stop stirring and let the mixture continue to bubble until it reaches 275°F on a candy thermometer.
Tip: You can also use our Everything Bacon Seasoning blend for a slightly different, deliciously smoky twist!
Step 3: Coat the popcorn
Transfer the popped popcorn into a heatproof bowl. Carefully pour the hot maple syrup mixture over the popcorn and mix thoroughly to coat.
Step 4: Bake to perfection
Spread the coated popcorn on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Place in a preheated oven at 275°F for 25–30 minutes, stirring once halfway through. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly until the glaze hardens.
Break apart and enjoy!
