MAPLE & PEPPER STEAK

MAPLE & PEPPER STEAK

An adaptation of Gordon Ramsay’s steak
Time: 30 minutes
Servings: 1

INGREDIENTS

Ribeye (or really any cut of steak)
1 tbsp Maple & Pepper Seasoning
1-2 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
2-3 tbsp butter

PREPARATION

  1. Let the steak sit for 20 minutes in room temperature
  2. Pre-heat pan over medium-high
  3. Season the meat with a generous amount of Maple & Pepper Seasoning on both sides
  4. Once the pan is really hot, drizzle oil to cover the surface
  5. Add the steak to the pan and let it sear for 30 seconds on each side
  6. Add the garlic, one more tablespoon of oil and butter. The more butter, the tastier
  7. Keep flipping the steak on each side every minute. For a medium steak, total cooking time is 5 minutes (1 minute searing; 30 seconds on each side + 4 minutes cooking; 2 minutes per side)
  8. Let the steak rest for 5-10 minutes so that it softens. Enjoy!

PS. You can use the same recipe by replacing the Maple Pepper Seasoning with any of our BBQ blends:
