An adaptation of Gordon Ramsay’s steak
Time: 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS
Ribeye (or really any cut of steak)
1 tbsp Maple & Pepper Seasoning
1-2 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
2-3 tbsp butter
PREPARATION
- Let the steak sit for 20 minutes in room temperature
- Pre-heat pan over medium-high
- Season the meat with a generous amount of Maple & Pepper Seasoning on both sides
- Once the pan is really hot, drizzle oil to cover the surface
- Add the steak to the pan and let it sear for 30 seconds on each side
- Add the garlic, one more tablespoon of oil and butter. The more butter, the tastier
- Keep flipping the steak on each side every minute. For a medium steak, total cooking time is 5 minutes (1 minute searing; 30 seconds on each side + 4 minutes cooking; 2 minutes per side)
- Let the steak rest for 5-10 minutes so that it softens. Enjoy!
