SALMON FILLET WITH TERIYAKI SAUCE

INGRÉDIENTS
For the Salmon
10 Salmon Fillets, medium-sized 
2 Tbsp Everything Fish Spice Blend

For the Teryaki Sauce
1 Cup Soya Sauce
¼ Cup Vegetable Oil
2 Tbsp Grated Ginger
8 Cloves of Minced Garlic
2 Green onions, chopped finely
Pinch of Himalayan Pink Salt
½ Tsp Ground Black Pepper
¼ Cup Brown Sugar
Juice of 1 Lemon
1 Tsp Sesame Oil
1 Tbsp Corn Starch
¼ Cup Cold Water 

For Serving
Green Onions
Grilled or Sautéed Vegetables

PREPARATION

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180c degrees.
  2. Brush an oven tray with vegetable oil and place salmon fillets.
  3. Drizzle the salmon fillets with more vegetable oil and season with Everything Fish Spice Blend.
  4. Bake salmon for 15 min.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare the teriyaki sauce in a bowl by mixing sauce ingredients together: soya sauce, vegetable oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, green onions, Himalayan Salt, Ground Black Pepper, brown sugar, lemon juice, sesame oil, corn starch and water. Transfer the sauce to a sauce pan and cook on medium heat, let boil until sauce starts to thicken.
  6. Remove salmon from oven and pour the teriyaki sauce over the fillets. Return to oven and bake for another 5-10 min.
  7. Garnish with green onions and serve alongside grilled or sautéed vegetables.
