GUAVA BBQ BEEF RIBS

GUAVA BBQ BEEF RIBS

Our Smoky, sweet and spicy rub is the secret ingredient that makes these falls of the bone ribs outstanding. Brush on or dip in Island Gurl Guava BBQ Sauce and it’s next level!

Servings: 4

INGREDIENTS
2 racks Beef Grilling Back Ribs
(about 7 ribs long), 3 lb. (1.5 kg)
¼ cup (60 mL) Island Gurl BBQ Rub to taste

1 cup (250 mL) Island Gurl Sweet Guava BBQ Sauce

PREPARATION
1. Preheat one side of grill on low 275˚F. Prepare ribs by removing any membranes or extra fat. Season both sides of the ribs liberally with Island Gurl BBQ rub.
2. Place ribs over indirect heat, close the grill and cook for 2 hours.
3. Brush ribs with BBQ sauce, continue cooking over indirect heat for an additional 30 minutes or until meat easily pulls away from the bone. Char the ribs by turning up the grill and let ribs darken in spots for about 2-3 minutes per side.
4. Transfer ribs to a serving platter, let stand 5 minutes and serve.

TIP: Another way to enjoy these falls off the bone ribs, is to omit brushing with the BBQ sauce and use it as a dip.
