INGREDIENTS

For the Pizza Sauce
1 cup passata (tomato purée)
½ tbsp tomato paste
½ tsp brown sugar (optional)
1 tsp A Spice Affair’s Nonna’s Secret or Nonna's Spaghetti Seasoning
1 tsp olive oil
½ tsp Pink Himalayan Salt

For the Pizza
4 slices of Texas bread (your choice)
½ cup pizza sauce
4 tsp A Spice Affair’s Nonna’s Secret or Nonna's Spaghetti Seasoning
1-2 cups grated mozzarella
Pepperoni
1 tsp A Spice Affair’s Italian Herbs 
Basil, for garnish

PREPARATION

1. Preheat oven to 425F
2. Place toast bread on baking sheet. Spoon and spread pizza sauce over the bread. 
3. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon Nonna’s Secret Seasoning over each slice of bread.
4. Top with cheese, pepperoni and/or any other topping ingredients of your choice. 
5. Bake until cheese has melted. Top with Italian Herbs, fresh basil and serve!
